Founded in 2020, the Culinary Arts Commission is leading the development of Saudi Arabia’s culinary arts sector. By driving investment and building robust regulatory frameworks, it supports the next generation of Saudi chefs and hospitality professionals in reaching their full potential. Working alongside the Ministry of Culture, the Commission is committed to unlocking a thriving cultural sector while preserving the culinary traditions that make the Kingdom unique. Its scope covers the entire culinary ecosystem—from the preservation of native ingredients, recipes, and techniques to training professionals, fostering innovation, and creating market opportunities. Through different initiatives, the Commission bridges tradition and innovation, ensuring that Saudi culinary arts remain vibrant, competitive, and a source of pride and livelihood for local communities.
